TouchNet, a Global Payments Company, located in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Software Engineer - Data to join our growing team!
As a Software Engineer - Data, you will be responsible for solutions that analyze, manage, and transfer data throughout our IT environment
What Part Will You Play?Develop and maintain proprietary software solutions in Python and Java
Administer and support third-party data transfer solutions such as Striim
Design/develop/support ETL processes in Python and T-SQL/PostgreSQL
Design/develop/support various solutions using MSSQL/PostgreSQL/BigQuery
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant Experience or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years experience in enterprise IT
Working knowledge of T-SQL and PostgreSQL query languages
Experience in working independently to meet deliverables with minimal oversight
Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
Experience with data transformation, visualization, and analytics in Excel/Sheets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Data Warehouse platforms; BigQuery experience is a plus.
Experience with modern reporting tools; Looker experience is a plus
Experience with Cloud Computing providers; GCP experience is a plus
Experience with scripting/programming; Python experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Informatica experience (Axon, EDC, IDQ, DPM)
Experience with Striim is a plus
Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Experience with Elastic Stack is a plus
Experience with Jira is a plus
