  • Estimated hourly rate: $27.21 (minimum) - $34.04 (midpoint) - $40.87 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Supplier Quality Tech, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Supplier Quality Tech (SQT) supports the Supplier Quality Engineering group through processing First Article Inspection (FAI) and Supplier Part Approval Process (SPAP) submissions, selective receiving inspection, analysis and processing of internal NCR material and other administrative and logistical support duties.What You Will Be Doing
  • A level two SQT has expert knowledge of the processes and is cross trained in all areas. Processing FAI, SPAP and material certification submissions from suppliers accurately and timely including handling and analysis of parts and/or supporting documentation; completing maintaining associated records and logs; communicating submission status as needed to SQEs, supplier managers, engineers, suppliers, and product family members.
  • A level two SQT has expert knowledge of the processes and is cross trained in all areas. Conducting selective receiving inspection under the direction of the SQE group including inspection of material, completing, and maintaining related documentation, communication of inspection results to concerned parties and processing of material after inspection through the WISE system.
  • A level two SQT has expert knowledge of the processes and is cross trained in all areas. General support of SQEs including supplier communication, Supplier Corrective Action Request processing, product evaluation and sorting activities, and interfacing with Woodward members and internal/external processes and systems as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
What We Are Looking For
  • U.S. high school diploma, quality system course required.
  • 5+ years' experience in quality systems, mechanical inspection, machining, and or/electrical component and assembly inspection required.
  • Thorough understanding of the principals of AS9100, ISO-9000/2000, QS-9000 and/or TS-16949
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and industry standards
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ANSI Y14.5
  • Ability to learn applicable statistical techniques, e.g., capability studies and Gage R&Rs
