Job Description:
- Title:: Preventative Maintenance/EHS Tech
- Focal technician responsible for maintaining and testing manufacturing machines.
- Knowledgeable in preventative maintenance, down-time, and repair requirements and capable of working with manufacturing engineers to ensure steady production through utilized machines.
- ARC Flash / ZESP / LOTO / HAZWOPR / Elevated Work / Forklift / Aerial Lifts / Hoists and Rigging / Fire suppression.
- Motors, controls, wiring, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pressurized systems, filters, belts, lubrication, seals, test stands, electronics, circuit boards, sumps, blades, compressors, valves, estops and machine guarding, presses, HVAC, Client systems, troubleshooting with multimeter, pressure gauges.
- Weekly/Monthly checks/repairs/certifications/purchasing of fire extinguishers, wet & dry fire suppression, fire alarm and detection systems, generators, eyewash stations, safety showers, elevators, security systems, first aid equipment, AEDs, interior / exterior warning signage, interior / exterior lighting, roof inspections, spill prevention, flam materials and cabinets, combustible dust, cranes, jibs, fall protection, AGST (outside), compressed cylinders, etc.
- HS Diploma/GED required AND AT LEAST 5 years of relevant experience.
